There are many building suppliers in and around Gabrovo and dozens of small DIY shops - too many to list in entirety. Here is a selection of the ones I've found useful and easy to get to.

A. ROOFING 

This yard is situated on the main road between Gabrovo and Sevlievo. I've mentioned them as they have a good range of different types of roof tiles as well as selling metal roof tile effect sheeting in various sizes. They also do some decorative stone e.g. for cladding walls. Delivery is available.

B. DIY SHOPS

There's a great range of little diy shops all along the street adjacent to Lidl (near the bus station). You can buy all sorts of tools, fitments, netting, sheeting, glue, varnish... the list is endless! There are also some really good household shops here for pots and pans, plastic items, plant pots etc.

C. PAINT SHOP

This one is just up the hill off the roundabout. They have a good range of paints, varnishes and materials for treating wood, metal etc. They also give good advice if you're looking to complete a special project.

D. PAINT SHOP

This one is at the far end of town and on a one way street (you'll need to drive south on a parallel one way street then turn left at the end to enter the road with the paint shop). They sell a big range of paints, varnishes and materials for treating wood, metal etc.
