DISKODURATERA

Diskoduratera is the nearby Roman ruin of what was once a Roman garrison and mint. The route takes you out of Gostilitsa on the Dryanovo road, before turning right onto a track. The path leads across fields and through woods where you pass over a small bridge. Shortly after this you will once again come out into open fields. There is a diversion to the left which will bring you down to an old abandoned flour mill. Retrace your steps before continuing to the Roman ruins which are in the midst of a small woodland.  You can either return by the main road, or head back the way you came for a more scenic but longer return route. Distance (with return via the main road) 5.5km
